Louis Pasteur was born on the 27th of December 1822 in Dole, Jura. He was a remarkable French chemist and microbioligist remembered for his amazing discoveries about diseases and cures for diseases.

 

 

  He discovered many things about diseases and invented the first vaccine for rabies to reduce the mortality of that disease. He was well known to the general public for creating a method for milk and wine. The method made sure that the drinks did not cause illness, called pasteurization, named after him. He is one of the three main founders of microbiology, with Ferdinand Cohn and Robert Koch. He made many discoveries in the field of chemistry, including the molecular for the asymmetry of certain crystals.
